Bradford Salamon: Forging Ahead

Saturday, January 29, 2022 - Saturday, August 20, 2022
Bradford J. Salamon is a native of California. He grew up in Huntington Beach where he was immersed in the local surf culture and played drums in several punk rock bands. His Dad was an art dealer; therefore art was always a part of Bradford’s life since childhood.

He began serious art studies in the late 1970s and by his mid 20s had embarked on a professional art career. During that time his art production was focused on portraiture which he sold through the two different galleries he operated in Newport Beach.

Since then Bradford has forged ahead exploring a wide range of subject matter while honing his skills as a painter. Currently he is also producing very imaginative large-scale drawings. While he occasionally teaches painting classes most of his time is spent creating fine art. This mid-career exhibition brings together exceptional works created during the past two decades.
