BiographyBorn in Philadelphia, PA on April 4, 1908. Julie Raymond studied at the ASL in NYC and, after moving to Long Beach, CA in the 1920s, with Sam Hyde Harris, Vanessa Helder and Loren Barton. The wife of a U.S. marine, she lived in various locations during the 1930s and was at Pearl Harbor when it was bombed. Returning to California after the war, Mrs. Polousky lived for a few years in Vallejo before moving south to Long Beach where she remained until her death on Jan. 31, 1974.
