DescriptionThroughout his art career, George Post sought out interesting rural country scenes in the Bay Area as subject matter. He also taught watercolor painting instruction to small groups of students in and around Mill Valley. He found that setting up and painting in groups was most comfortable in a rural settings away from noise and crowds of people.
