DescriptionARTIST’S STATEMENT:
In this one, the robots signify the world of today, and the background is the future. This was one of the first works in which I focused on the robot tin toys. They represent a whole culture of being interested in outer space, but they also have a naïve quality about them which I like. A lot of toys today are just too generic, too safe. These were interesting to me because they have so much individual character.
